Christmas anthem
Oh say can ya see
by the moons pale light
how we're tucked in our beds
waiting for Santa tonight
Our parents remind us
to keep a big grin
for to ware a frown
would be such a sin
We've obeyed mom n dad
and been very good
we studied n played
just as boys and girls should
Poor Santa must labor this night
from dusk 'till dawn
as we drift into slumber
with a big ole yawn...
We'll be deep in a trance
with nare a care
knowing when we awake
ole Saint Nick will have been there
